Faith Building Scripture
My thoughts this week have been on faith building scriptures. We must always remember that the Word of God is the source of truth to all that will believe. Its mystery is revealed to those who read it with a humble heart that is seeking for knowledge of man’s purpose and reason for living. Within its books, chapters, and verses are an amazing source of strength, power, and encouragement. It is the roadmap to heaven. Through the years, the following verses from the Word of God have greatly helped to build my faith in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I hope they will be a blessing and faith builder for you as well.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. (Hebrews 11:3)
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul. (Genesis 2:7)
Thou, even thou, art Lord alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee. (Numbers 9:6)
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. (Psalm 139:14)
For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. (I Corinthians 15:22,23)
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (St. John 11:25, 26)

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for he hath said, I will never leave, nor forsake thee. So we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. (Hebrews 13:5, 6)
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin. Lets us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:14, 15, 16)
Jesus answered and said unto them. Verily I said unto you, If you have faith and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. (St. Matthew 21: 21, 22)
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in Glory. (Phillipians 4:19)
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ. (Phillipians 4:7)
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Phillipians 4:13)
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. (Isaiah 41:10)
For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. (Isaiah 41:13)
There hath no temptation taken but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. (I Corinthians 10:13)
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him for he careth for you. (I Peter 5:6, 7)
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things to present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38, 39)
